Nice aroma of bready malts with a slight floral/spicy note, maybe from the hops. Nice head and carbonation, and the beer is hazy. Flavors of solid bready, bisquity malts with a nice finish of noble hops. Solid beer.

500ml bottle courtesy of Rune. Amber brown, not much head. Creamy corn malt aroma. Sweet vegetable corn flavour. Vanilla corn aftertaste. Not great.

Hazy amber color, white head. Malty nose, bread, earthy yeast, hints of spice and wort. Sweet, malty taste, grass, hints of fruit and alcohol, dry finish. Flat, watery texture. A bit disappointing.

tfredvik (1078) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 5, 2014
Slightly hazy, pale amber body with a white, long-lived head that laces the glass well. Sweet, pretty boring and moderate aroma of pale malts, light fruits and citrus. Malty sweet taste with a fairly long-lasting moderate to light bitter finish. Moderate flavour of pale malts and generic fruits. Mid-bodied, creamy and smooth texture, moderate carbonation. Too sweet and too little hops for my taste.
[50 cl bottle, enjoyed 15 months before BB date, from Vinmonopolet Ullevål, Oslo]

Bottle at home. Bottle from 2013. Pours a hazy dark orange colour, and with a medium, creamy, light beige head. Malty aroma with fudge, dried fruit, wort, apricot and wood. Nice but a little faint. The flavour is similar but is more fruity and sweet. Caramel and dried fruit dominates with hints of hops and slcohol. Some dryness in the end. Slick and soft mouth feel, and has a light to medium bitterness. A fruity and sweet helles bock.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Ølen. ABV is 6.5%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate to low white head. Strong aroma of grassy hops. Sweet flavour with notes of alcohol, the hops are quite moderate. Not something I will buy again.

Bottle at Beer Hunters. Hazy orange color, small white head. Ryeish bready with some crystal malt aroma. Medium-bodied. Grassy hoppyness, sweetish malty. A bit too simple and grainy.

0.5l bottle. This is a cloudy deep dark orange, looks really thick and chewy in the glass and it has a really bubbly medium sized light beige head. A little bit of sweetness on the nose, hints of smoked malts, light candy, a little bit of nuts and caramel. It has a soft to light oily mouthfeel with a just below average carbonation. Light sweet, kinda yeast fruity with melon zest yeast. Have to admit that I’m no big fan of bocks, so already there I’m not a huge fan. Some old grassy - almost herbal hints before more malts sweetness hits the buds in the aftertaste. Not bad tasting in any way, but not to exciting either. No urgent rush to try again. 30.07.2013

Flaske 0,5 l fra Vinmonopolet Jekta, Tromsø. Matøl på RV124 22 Jul 13. Gyldengul. Litt uklar. Høyt tett skum som varer en stund. Litt lacing. God maltaroma. Smaken litt syrlig med antydning til malt & frukt. Tørr avslutning. KI=7.
