DWS Deep brown colour with nice tan head. Aroma of dark dried fruits, liqorice, coffee and chocolate. Taste is sweet, liqorice, coffe and dark fruits. Creamy texture, soft carbonation.

DWG; Pours black with a tan deminishing head. Nose fills with roasted malt, coffe, licorice, dark fruity and chocolate. Taste is sweet, warming and lasting. Body is full, texture is creamy, carbonation is flat to soft.

0,5 l, flaske, 10,0 % ABV, hjemkøb fra Norge af Handschuh - tak!, 10. januar 2014. Sort, men vist klar/filtreret norsk Imperial Stout med fin moccafarvet 1/2 cm tyk skumkrone, som "flygter" ned til et overfladeskum. Skøn dejlig aroma af chokolade og gærceller. Svag note af kaffe. Fantastisk smag med sødme indhyllet i mørk bitterhed. Dejlig mørk bitter eftersmag af engelsk lakrids og chokolade. Et fantastisk glas øl! Bottle from Cunningham, many thanks. Almost black colored beer with thick beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, dark fruits, licorice, ash. Taste, roasted malt, caramel, milk chocolate, roasted coffee beans, vanilla, licorice, ash, wood, citrus hops. Alcohol is dangerously hidden. Tasty beer.

Bottled. A black beer with a ghin brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, liquorice, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, liquorice, roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted fnish.

Bottled. Pours deep, dark brown with a medium sized tan head. Aroma of slightly roasted malt, chocolate and coffee notes. Sweet flavor that ends up with a little bitterness. Medium to full bodied, creamy texture and soft to flat carb. Delicious.

Bottle at Øltorget in Oslo. Sweet dark chocolate / cocoa powder / rum balls (hot alcohols). Sticky and chewy texture, low carbonation, full body, syrupy and cloying finish. Sherry oxidation and nut / butter / pastry bread. Too boozy and cloying.
