500ml bottle, bbe 03/01/18. Pours thick and syrupy black with a small but thick dark brown head. Aroma is nutty, chocolatey, notes of raspberries, caramelized sugar, slight vanilla. Taste is slightly sweet, malty, roasted, chocolatey with a note of rum-raisins and smoke. Mouthfeel is gorgeous - silky, smooth and rich with low to medium carbonation. Lovely and very enjoyable.

Aroma is coffee, and some very strong aroma which i didn’t know how to describe. Taste is coffee and licorice, a bit of alcohol pushing through. Medium body oily full mouthfeel. Long licorice finish. Very good. A minus on the alcohol pushing through for taste and overall.

SlackerMads (1259) - DENMARK - FEB 20, 2013
Bottle. Clear dark brown close to black with a minimal beige head that leaves a bit of lacing. Aroma is sweet dark chocolate, prunes, over ripe fruits, roasted malt, light sweet licorice. Has some barrel age character to it; a bit wood and light vanilla. Taste is heavy sweet and light+ bitter. Full body, thick oily/sticky texture, soft carbonation. Very nice and soft with no alcohol roughness. Sweet mellow finish with light roasted malt.
