Bottled. Pours deep, dark brown with a medium sized tan head. Aroma of slightly roasted malt, chocolate and coffee notes. Sweet flavor that ends up with a little bitterness. Medium to full bodied, creamy texture and soft to flat carb. Delicious.

50cl, new exclusive Norwegian brew Anno 2010, from Voldby Købmandsgaard Hammel, complex Porter, roasted/sweet and slightly spicy/fruity, very balanced, cloudy, good head, very good brew, yet expensive!

Bottle at Øltorget in Oslo. Sweet dark chocolate / cocoa powder / rum balls (hot alcohols). Sticky and chewy texture, low carbonation, full body, syrupy and cloying finish. Sherry oxidation and nut / butter / pastry bread. Too boozy and cloying.

Noe bitterhet å spore i ettersmaken. Godt jobbet Ægir!

One of the best beers I’ve ever tasted, and the mix of bitterness from hops that mostly remind me of IPAs and the sweetness of the best dark porters make this an unforgettable experience. Nicely bitter, heavy, well balanced, coffee, cocoa and dark basements, and the alcohol is nicely hidden behind all of these great tastes and aromas.

Thanks to tderoeck! 50cl bottle @ RBBSG II. Pours super dark brown with orange highlights with a small loose head. Smell is roasted malt, fruit - pleasant though not overly complex. Taste is roasted malt, crisp fruit. Medium body with mild carbonation.

10% from a Vinmonopolet in Oslo, possibly in the train station? Shared at my local homebrewers meeting. A great rich fruity aroma with figs, plums & chocolate greeted me. It has a medium body with a slick mouthfeel with a boozy chocolate deliciousness. Lots of warming as it goes down your throat. Excellent stuff though more of a winter beer.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika, Oslo. Almost black with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and a little coffee. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 210913

Easy to drink beer for being so strong. A little alcohol in the taste, unfortunately, but not too dry. I have no grasp of what this smells or tastes. A little dark fruit and maybe soya. Long aftertaste. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Clear black colour, white head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, cacao, caramel, red fruits and a touch of chlorine / swimming pool. Light sweet flavour, caramel and roasted malts. Finish coffee, mocha, bitter roasted malts, some hops.
(From 50cL bottle @ RBBSG II, Gent 2013. Thanks for sharing, Tim!)
