Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Dyprød - egentlig svart: Lar seg så vidt gjennomskinne. Høyt, litt farget luftig skum. Sammensatt og god aroma av bær & lakris. Litt røyk. Oljeaktig munnfølelse. Rik, ikke påtrengende smak. Lakris, svisker og litt røyk. Avslutter tørt. Alkoholen merkes ikke. Et veldig behagelig øl. KI=7

Bottle at DSG 2011. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, licorice, malt, chocolate. Flavour is sweet, coffee, licorice, malt, alcohol, hop, chocolate. Nice beer.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Very dark amber color with a tiny head that disappears. Roasted malt aroma, coffee, chocolate, raisins, caramel and prunes. Nice one.

Smak: Tjock oljig vätska ,ed mycket choklad och lakrits.
Eftersmak: Mycket malt.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2012 Bottle. Black colour with a beige head. Caramel, raosted malt and liquorice nose. Complex and well blended flavour; toffe, liquorice, fruity, roasted malt. Just outstanding.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, at Pikkulintu, 20111203) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and light brown. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, hops, sweetness, liquorice, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was roasty and bitter. A bit too hoppy for a porter but still nice.

Bottle. Almost black with an airy tan head. Molasses and somewhat meaty nose. In the mouth roasted coffee and caramel chocolate flavours. Well-crafted as always from Ægir.

Pours deep dark red colour with medium beige head. Aroma of dark roasted malts, caramel, liqurice and chocolate. Flavour of roasted malts, caramel, chocolate, salty liqurice and light fruits at the end. A bit too salty taste, otherwise ok porter.

Aroma has licorice, some coffee and roasted malt. Also hints of solvent. Sweetish flavour has salty licorice, some burned sugar and alcohol. Too salty and alcohol comes too much through, but decent stuff anyway.

Pours a dark brown, almost black colour with a natural white head. Aroma of coffee, dark fruits and some chocolate. Flavour of roasted malts, syrup, brown sugar, quite strong coffee and salty licorice. Medium bodied, very slick mouthfeel and a long, bitter and salty finish. Strong and salty.
