Bottle. Pours impenetrable black with a creamy beige head. Delicious dark fruity aroma with sweet caramel, plums, port, light alcohol, perhaps slight vanilla. Flavour is as powerful and massive as you could have wanted. Pretty much the same notes going on, massive fruity sweetness with some liquorice and a surprisingly dry ending, making it scarily drinkable. This is so fruity and port-like that it feels like one of those delicious aged imperial stouts or porters. It could have been thicker and creamier, but dang, this is good. Need more of this.

Bottle. A clear beer, reddish dark brown body and a dense, finger-thick light beige head. There’s some alcohol on the nose, but not much. Chocolate, coffee and a touch of raisins in the aroma. Brown sugar too. Super smooth on the palate, full-bodied and with a little warmth. Dark chocolate, mocha and a touch of raisins in the flavor. A little bitterness too, not much. A very nice beer, sort of one-dimensional, but nice. Looking forward to the next bottle. 111001

Dark coca-cola like look, small brown head. Plums and other dry sweet fruits on the nose together with roasted malt notes. Very sweet taste, hints of toffee, roasted malts, burnt caramel and some far chocolate hints. Full body, oily feel, soft carbonation and a very sweet and light liquor like after taste. Good one.

ChrisOs ’Donkey Dork Lord’ Pre-GBBF Tasting. Clear brown beer, suddy tan head. Light palate. Chocolatey malt with very mild roast. A little lacto sweetness and something that tastes like this could have been barrel aged. Alright!

0.5l bottle. After having this one in my fridge for over one year, the time has come to pop it. Must admit that I have some expectations, so here we go: It pours a near pitch black body with a small bubbly and sidesticking chocolate head. Aroma is quite sweet, heavy roasted malts, some nice sweet dark fruits, lots of chocolate, some biscuits and perhaps even a little hint of cold coffee. Beautiful! The carbonation is average to soft and quite prickling, really full-bodied and it has a heavy, chewy and oily moulthfeel. Nice really heavy roasted malts flavor, dark bitter chocolate, big amounts of licorice and it’s quite well-hopped and that keeps lingering in the long and warming both finish and aftertaste. Was expecting quite a lot before tasting this masterpiece, and I’m definitely not disappointed. Great beer!
