Bottle. Medium high lasting brown creamy head. Without my lamp behind it I would have said black. Now I say very dark red brown body. Lovely mild and smooth coffee choccolate wood aroma with just a hint of the alcohol. Flavor likewise smooth and pleasant of choccolate liquorice and a good deal of hops bitterness that is however not too dominant. Low carbonation, long finish. Alcohol level seems just right. Very well balanced.

Starting off with one of my dear favorites. Gorgeous choclit taste, and when served at right temp a close to "complete" beer.

50 cl. bottle poured in to a Snifter. Pitch black with a thin, tanned head. Sweet, roasted aroma with roasted malts, liquorice, light coffee and alcohol, dark chocolate and a rich, lactic sweetness. Taste is sweet and roasted. Full body with an oily feel and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted, filling and sweet with chocolate malts and liquorice. Nice, rich Porter.

Bottles from Vinmonopolet. Heavy but silky smooth. Low carbonation, low bitternes. Reminds me off Hoppin Frog Silk Porter, only thicker viscosity.

Bottle: Poured a deep black color porter with nice medium size brown foamy head with OK retention and limited lacing. Aroma of black chocolate notes with light dry roasted malt is enjoyable. Taste is a mxi of black chocolate malt notes with dry and bitter roasted malt notes. Body is a bit thin for style with good carbonation and light warming alcohol notes. Overall, this is an enjoyable porter but body is a bit too thin with a certain lack of complexity.
