27.05.2011. 0,5l Bottle. Meny Karmsundgata Haugesund. Golden yellow colour with white head. Aroma is malty with crisp fresh bitterness. There is some kind of grassy hop flavour in this beer that I dont like that much, but I dont know what it is.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy, light amber with a large, thick, lasting, white head. Aroma is slightly lemony and herbal with a lot of cereal maltiness. As the head settles a bit, the cereal gives way to wheat. Taste is very cereal malts with some herbal tones and hints of lemon. Again after a while the malts somewhat give way to slightly sour wheat and a bit stronger lemon and some yeast.. Aftertaste is dry with sour wheat with some lemony and herbal hops. Palate is light, but fitting. Went very well with salmon on Finnish dry rye bread.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
(Bottle, 0.5 l, from K Supermarket Kamppi, 20110430) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and metallicness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were metallicness, grass, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweetish and bitter. The sweet and bitter combination didn’t please me.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Copper hazy, thin white head. Smells of banana and citrus. Taste of peaches, mango and other tropical fruits. Some malt sweetness too. Not much bitterness here. Taste is interesting though

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
0.5l bottle. Pours a clear golden body loaded with microscopic sediments and a big bubbly white head. Aroma is citrus dominant in a non-dominant way. Also notes of yeast, cheese, malts and a thin peppery hint. Medium bodied, perhaps a bit watery yet smooth texture and medium carbonation. Mild and refreshing flavors, quite low on the bitterness, mildly malty and really easy to drink. Ends in a near fruity finish. I was not expecting much from this brew, but got quite surprised over how nice and refreshing this actually was. Due to the relatively low alcohol percentage it’s safe to have a few of these even if you’re out skiing or whatever people does in the easter.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a light golden, with a creamy staying head. A rather unpleasant buttery aroma, with some notes of light fruit and caramel as well. Body is surprisingly creamy, with a good crispness. Taste hits with spicy hops, citrus and light fruit, before it is balanced by caramel and some notes of bread. Overall it’s a very malty beer, but the initial taste and the finish have some fresh, citrusy lemon.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma? Hello? Aroma, where are you? There are some very, very weak but pleasant notes of herbs present (I think), but they are hard to detect. Is this just an extremely expensive pale lager? The appearance on the other hand is great: a light golden, clear and sparkling body, with a big, close to creamy, white, fully lasting head that leaves lots and lots of lacing. The taste is initially light sweet and ends with a light bitter finish. The flavours are much more pronounced than the aromas and surprisingly nice: spices, herbs and wheat. Light to medium body, average to soft carbonation. A refreshing beer!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled 500ml (K-Kamppi, BB 02/2013)
Slightly hazy golden color, good cloudy white head. Aroma of sweetish fruity lemon, lychee, grains and bubblegum (but no wheat here?). Light bodied. Grassy, crisp hoppyness. Lemony, sweetish maltyness, bubblegum notes. Flavor is also quite wheaty. Reasonably refreshing "Zwickel". Not much Easter here.
