COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Norwegian: Rundt og balansert, mørkt raudt øl med eit preg av nøtter, sjokolade og toffee. Smaken kjem fra seks ulike malttyper, og ølet er overraskande lett å drikke. Passer bra til grillmat og oster.

English: Mellow and balanced, dark red beer with a character of nuts, chocolate and toffee. The taste comes from six different kinds of malt, and the beer is surprisingly easy to drink. Goes well with barbeque and cheeses.

Godt og lett drikkbart øl. Litt søtt med avbalansert bitterhet. Lite ettersmak. Nytes best langsetter Rallarveien eller i puben til Ægir bryggeri.

Lettdrikkelig men allikevel med litt god fylde. Deilige smaker rett og slett! Nam nam! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: Clear amber color with a fine thick off white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Bready, fruity and herbal hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Malty, bready, mild fruity and a bit roasted.

Bottle at bar. Poured a clear amber with a white head. Aromas are of maserated raisins and berries. Maybe weak chocolate. Tastes sweet with abrupt bitterness. Sweet hops. Fair on bubbles. OK

Tap at the brewery, Flåm, 25/10/14. Deep scant-haloed copper. Nose berries, hedgerow and stone fruit, beeswax, hint of smoke. Good Butterkist and soft biscuit backed with light peat taste. Another winner. Plenty of personality for an amber.

From January 2013 Smells sweetly and slightly spicy. Sharp taste with some clove and strawbeery, but more bitter. The aftertaste is smooth, bittersweet and with a stayer quality. A sentimental everyday macho ale.

Tap@stockholm. Murky brownish. Toffee earthy herby nose. Light med bodied, some sweetness, caramels, herbs. Ok lighter, almost scottish like ale.

Caramel, nuts, chocolate and a hint of roasted malts in the aroma. Amber with a off-white head. Medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Medium body with a soft carbonation. Overall a drinkable Ale, but boring and a bit disappointing from Ægir.
