Hazy light brown beer with a beige head. Very sweet and fruity thick aroma with mildly soapy notes. Quite a full body with thick and soft mouth feel. The hops are strong but soft and not at all sharp. There’s some alcohol and alcohol warmth in the taste. Lots of caramel sweetness. Medium grape fruity after taste. Quite good but not the best of the genre.

Murky reddish brown colour with a tiny bubbly off-white head.
Deep hoppy aroma with moderate bitterness, fruitiness and sweetish maltiness. Seems to be rather balanced DIPA. Is it? The flavour is very strong. It’s extremely sweet. Fruity, piney and resiny hops, moderate bitterness, very dark hoppiness, sweet malt and some herbs in the flavour. It is balanced. There’s some alcohol too but that’s quite well hidden. Very sweet and malty. Still rather enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a light orange with a small, white head. Aroma is sweet, caramelly, mostly resinous. A touch of exotic fruits and perhaps gooseberry? Taste begins very resinous, quite sweet, stingy. Turns fruitier and piney as it progresses. Fruitiness is of the exotic kind: Pineapple, papaya. A light touch of ethanol as it nears the finish, which turns out surprisingly dry and bitter after the quite sweet beginning. Tasty. Palate is quite full and decently carbonated. Very good.

Aroma has sweet malt, resiny notes, fruits and some vanilla. Flavour is sweet with caramel, resiny malt, some fruity notes and nettles. Too malty and sweet. Quite American for a Norwegian beer.

Pours hazy orange color with a small head. Aroma of intensely resiny hops, caramel, malts and fruits. Flavor of caramel malts, resiny hops, fruits and some toffee. Too resiny and sweet for me.

Pours a cloudy orange amber colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of floral hops, grapefruit, caramel and resin. Flavour of sweet caramel malts, strong floral hops, resin, grapefruit and tangy citrusy notes. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel and a strong, floral, grapefruity finish with caramel notes. Not as fresh as I hoped for. Too much resiny notes as well and lacks those hoppy kicks that you crave for. Still good, though.

Pours dark orange with a smooth bubbly head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramels, hints of fruity hops and resin. Taste is sweetish, hoppy and malty with notes of resin, caramel and toffee. Finish is malty, hoppy and slightly fruity with some caramel and toffee notes. Okay, quite malty DIPA.

50cl bottle from Alko Arkadia. BBE 04/01/15. Hazy amber, thick white head. Aroma is slightly vinous, bready malty and tropical fruitiness. Flavor has piney hops, grass, malt and alcohol. Ok balance, but alcohol is coming through too much.
