Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, burnt caramel, malt, syrop and notes of nuts. Full bodied.

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Batch 237. Mørk gylden med et høyt, kritthvitt luftig skum som fester seg til glasset. Nydelig aroma av sitrus. Myk munnfølelse. Søt sitrussmak med dominans av appelsin. Alkoholsødmen kommer litt for godt fram. Tørr syrlig ettersmak.

Tap @ Cardinal. pours a nice head and is cloudy pale brown in color. The american hops are strong represented in the aroma. Nice flavors of sweet malts and hops. Great bitterness to counterbalance the sweetness of the double IPA. A great double IPA of those I’ve tasted so far.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Halden. Dark hazy orange with red notes in the colour. Off white head. Spicy, sweet and fruity aroma. My first thought when I tasted it was: Plums...Rich sweet flavour. Fruity and some caramel

Bottle at Tilt, Oslo. Pours hazy reddish brown with an off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel, malt and spices. Sweet and malty and not as fresh as expected, noticable alcohol. The sweetness is a bit to much for me, a bit fruity, but just slightly bitter.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks David Cohen. Pours cloudy amber-copper. Nose: orange, rich honey,, sweet like an x-mas cake. Tastes lie marzipan and citrus. Dry medium finish, balanced and with good carbonation. Wish there was more than just a sip.

Flavor has some sweet and slightly honey-ish and buttery malt, continues to an aggressive bitter finish with some sweetness still in the background. Medium-bodied.

Unclear amber body, inch thick offwhite head that leaves the glass a bit early.
malty aroma with a good blend of hops, citrus, grapefruit, grassy, good complex taste of cara, citrus fruits (peach?) and pine. Good warm feeling, bitterness all way through the taste till the end. Not bad at all, would love to have this one again!

Bottle. Pours a redly caramel, with a nice full and creamy head. A full hoppy aroma of sharp pine and tropical fruits, and a thick oily body. Flavour is resin and orange peel, with some alcohol and a great complexity almost giving it a Barley Wine feel with its notes of raisins and dried fruits. Pleasant long finish.
