COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, lemons, metal, and a bit of malt, leading to a dry bitter finish.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Ølen. ABV is 5.5%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, large white head. Strong aroma of grassy hops, like a really well hopped pilsener. The expected notes of coriander and orange peel are there, but more subdued. Soft and smooth mouthfeel. Pleasant dry and smooth flavour with distinct notes of coriander and hops, hints of orange peel and cloves. Will buy again.

Lys gylden ravfarvet. Aroma av hvete, bakst og sitrus. God fylde, til Wit å være, med honningsødme. Friskhet av korianderfrø, uten å heve syren ut av balanse. Lite bitterhet. God til reker. (Jomfruland, 12.08.13)

Very wheat citrusy orange aroma. Smooth beyond comparison. A great summer light smooth ale. The wheat taste blends perfectly with the light citrusy hop character

Brown 50cl bottle 5.5%abv, off white deutschhh head if one wants, depends on how you pour it. Lots of lacings. Clear (!) gold golden body. Spices, wheat malts, ripe banana, cloves, coriander and more to the nose. Promising start. Tastes fruity wheat malts, fresh grass, coriander, cloves, other meadow spices, more fruitiness. Smooth n easy on palate, suitable carbonation. Finishes herbal, the fruity malts are still there, lingering a bit into spices. Overall tasty, mild for the style, easy to drink, good beer. B@Vinmonopolet, shared with my wife at home.

Ølsmaking Ambolten, Gulbrun i fargen, uklar med tynt hvitt skum. Hvete, gjær, koriandersmak sammen med noe gjær og bitterhet. Kort ettersmak, medium- kullsyre. En veldig godt hveteøl. Veldig god med ost

22.03.2014. 0,5l Bottle. Vinmonopolet Haugesund. Golden yellow colour with white head. Aroma is really fresh with wheat, yeast, lemon and some kind of soapy spices. That sounds bad but I like it! Wheaty! Fresh, and soft. Good flavours of malt and floral aromatic hops. Low on sharp bitterness. Good beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.5l bottle. Been longing for a wit all day. This one pours a not surprisingly cloudy dark golden body with a medium sized light lacing and bubbly just off-white head. It has a nose with lots of hay and grains, coriander, lots of orange sweetness, some surprising cherries hints, white sugar and lots and lots of wheat. Really as a good wit should smell. Even if it’s fridge-cold it has a really present nose. It has a really gliding light oily mouthfeel with a below average carbonation level. A bit strange tasting. Tons of wheat with a herbal green flavor. I get lots of those grains on the taste also. It’s kinda zesty and yeasty also. Not sure what it is with this, or the fact that I’m really used to drinking Nøgnes wit, but I had hoped for a little more (or actually more precise a little less) still quite a alright one, and just what I needed now. 19.07.2013
