COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Aegir was the brewer for the gods in Norse mythology. Ægir Brewery offers a number of beer types - from light to dark. Interestingly, Ægir Brewery with its heathen theme has now brewed a traditional abbey beer. Originally, Dubbels were brewed by monks. The beer is light brown in color, medium heavy with a flavor of dried fruits and spices from the yeast. Enjoy the beer with strong cheeses and robust food, or alone just for the pleasure.

yngwie (10760) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 23, 2012
Bottle. An unclear, amber beer topped by a dense, beige head of moderate size. Dried fruits and pine cones on the nose, some caramel and yeast hints. Rather fizzy in the mouth, full-bodied and semi-sweet, with flavors of caramel, dried fruits and bitterness. Lasting finish with caramel, dried fruits and bitterness. Not my favorite dubbel in any way, but it’s sure drinkable. Maybe some adequate food would be nice. 120623
