Norwegian: Ølet er fløyelsmjukt og fyldig i smaken, med litt sødme og eit preg av sjokolade og kaffi, som kjem frå rista malttypar. Perfekt til sjokoladekaka! Ei smaksoppleving åleina.

English: The beer is velvely soft and flavorful, with some sweetness and a touch of chocolate and coffee, due to roasted malts. Perfect with chocolate cake. An adventure on it’s own.

Dark brown with an off-white head. Roasted aroma with some hoppy undertones. Roasted and hoppy bitter flavour with some sweetness, especially towards the finish. Okay, but nothing very special.

0.5L brown bottle, abv 4.7%, b@EuroSpar. Complete brown body. Light brown diminishing head. Scents of mocca, espresso, dark chocolate. Taste; liquorice-ic mocca chocolate, roasted grains. A little mealy to palate, but nice bitterness. Not longevity for aftertaste, but well roasted caramellic bitter mocca-beanish feel.

Deilig sjokolade-/kaffesmak. God munnfølelse, men dabber av litt vel fort etter min smak.

Bottle 0,5 l at home enyoing my win in tonights poker. About the beer, pours brown/black with small head. Aroma is mild malt, mild chocolate and probably coffee. Taste is very mild coffee and notes of chocolate. Thin stuff, but at least there is a slight chocolate and light bitterness in the aftertaste. Nothing special. Im almost giving up on porters, its just not for me.

A partly successful soft porter from Ægir. Mine was on bottle from local shop. Appearance coca-cola, very little head, too lightly carbonated for my preference. A little dead, but it is Halloween! Taste friendly, light, hints of coofee and malts. Okay aftertaste. All in all a friendly encounter, and sympathic, light, alcoholweak porters in ordinary shops is all in all a soft legacy of the norwegian beer miracle.
