COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Norwegian: Ølet er fløyelsmjukt og fyldig i smaken, med litt sødme og eit preg av sjokolade og kaffi, som kjem frå rista malttypar. Perfekt til sjokoladekaka! Ei smaksoppleving åleina.

English: The beer is velvely soft and flavorful, with some sweetness and a touch of chocolate and coffee, due to roasted malts. Perfect with chocolate cake. An adventure on it’s own.

Appearance: Dark brown, clear. Good amount of tan head. Aroma: Some malt, slight coffee and roasted. Taste: More malt and coffee. Nice roasted. Good for a "low" alcohol beer. Info: 500ml bottle, 19/4-2013

Bottle. Pours very dark maroon, with a creamy head. Aroma is roasted malts, nice chocolate and cocoa, coffee, as well as sugar and molasses. Body is full, with soft carbonation. Flavour is sweet with lightly burned malts and molasses, as well as dark fruits giving a sweet finish.

Bottle, bought @ Nordisk Ølhandel, Cph.
Pours opaque black with a small, staying, creamy, light-brown head. Aroma has mild chocolate, nuts, roasted malts, light piney. Medium carbonation, light and still rather creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, hazelnuts, chocolate, light milky, softly roasted malts. Very mellow and nice.

Botella. Deep dark brown colour with a huge light brown head, well lasting good lacing. Pleasant roasty malty smoky bit aroma with chocolate. Good filling mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour of roasted malt with chocolate and bit smoke to it too. Good bitterness. Well balanced and only 4,7% alc. Tasty brew indeed. Thanks a bunch Rune!

500 ml bottle. This one is heavy and dark, but fortunately it’s not too heavy. It is a perfect match to a chocolate dessert, and the flavours open up at their best at 10-12 degrees Celsius. One of my favourite porters.
