Norwegian: Ølet er fløyelsmjukt og fyldig i smaken, med litt sødme og eit preg av sjokolade og kaffi, som kjem frå rista malttypar. Perfekt til sjokoladekaka! Ei smaksoppleving åleina.

English: The beer is velvely soft and flavorful, with some sweetness and a touch of chocolate and coffee, due to roasted malts. Perfect with chocolate cake. An adventure on it’s own.

A dark black pour with reddish tints & a beige head. The aroma is a really nice roast black coffee aroma. The mouthfeel was a tad watery but it had a good rich coffee flavor that wasn’t so bitter. It wasn’t so complex but is a really nice solid porter.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2014 Pours a clear dark brown, with a small tan head that fades away quickly. The aromas are roasted and mild. There’s some coffee, some cacao, and some roasty aromas, and they are very balanced – No one aroma sticks out more than the other. The taste is quite sweet, with a very slightly dry-ish finish. The body is medium-heavy, and the carbonation is soft. For a low strength porter, this is absolutely terrific, with it’s perfectly balanced "dark beer aromas".

Bottle - 500ml. Pours a dark brown body with a thin off-white foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with oaky, grainy, and roasty hints. Taste is well balanced. It carries roasty, woody, and some brown sugar notes. Ends with a decent bitter/roasty finish. Good stuff.

En porter god på lukt og med en dyp mørk farge. God på smak med en liten kortsittende ettersmak. Godt øl til riktig mat eller om en bare vil kose seg en kveld med en god porter.
