COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Norwegian: Ølet er fløyelsmjukt og fyldig i smaken, med litt sødme og eit preg av sjokolade og kaffi, som kjem frå rista malttypar. Perfekt til sjokoladekaka! Ei smaksoppleving åleina.

English: The beer is velvely soft and flavorful, with some sweetness and a touch of chocolate and coffee, due to roasted malts. Perfect with chocolate cake. An adventure on it’s own.

Bought at the Ægir brewery pub gift shop. Tanned tight head, nose of dark malts. Aroma of sweet coffee, roasted malts, and hints of chocolate. Medium-thick mouthfeel. A good brew.

Flott øl, med god smak og lukt, mørk og flott smak. Perfekt øl for en koseøl på en solskinnsaften :)

Bottle on board Fridtjofen 19.07.15. Aroma and taste of roasted barley, dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla. Also a hint of liquorice. Very quaffable!

On tap at Ægir, pours a deep dark brown with a reddish tinge and a beige head. Nose brings out notes of dry roastiness and toasted malt. Flavour is dry and toasty, with a very mild dry palate. Not the most interesting porter. These 4.7% Norwegian beers are often missing something and this is no exception. Will decent though.

Svart med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter kaffe, kakaobønner og noe brent karamell. Fyldig smak. Søtlig med lett bitterhet. Mørk sjokolade og kaffe. Noe salt. Kort. Mer alkoholfylde/sødme hadde denne fått over 4

Bottle at bar. Poured a clear dark brown with a barely noticeable off white head. Aromas of coffee, malt and cream. Slight peat notes? Drinks sweet followed by bitter. Slightly watery but fair on bubbles. More than OK
