COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Då Tor kom køyrande over himmelen med bukkane sine, skalv både jord og fjell, og med kvart hammarkast sprang det lyn ned mot verda. På same måte kjem denne kraftige versjonen av Amerikansk Barleywine, med smakar som minner om tørka frukt og eple. Passar til kraftige oster, og til å dele med gode venner.

Small to non-existant head. Hazy dark/mid-brown colour. Sweet and full aroma of slightly burnt caramel. Very big-bodied, and VERY sweet at first taste. Lingering and bitter aftertaste. Moderate taste of alcohol.

Thanks to 77ships! 50 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBSG II. Pours a deep cleat honey color with a loose tan head. Smell is caramel malt, fruit/dark fruit, vanilla, crisp hops. Taste is caramel, rich fruit and bright hops. Medium/full body with slick and tightly elegant carbonation.

Clear reddish brown colour, beige head. Aroma of malts, hops, cherry, caramel, citrus and light chocolate notes. Sweet flavour, malts, cherry, berries, caramel, bitter hops. Quite bitter finish, hops, malts and liquorice. Nice.

Clear red brown beer, aery yellow to beige head, unstable, dissipates immediately. Aroma: caramel, sweet, malty, some chloride, sugary, some chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sugary sweet start, caramel, dried fruits, little citric, alcohol, bitter hoppy. Aftertaste: sweet and malty, lots of dried fruits, bitter hops, some mocha, caramel, alcohol.

Personal contribution. 50 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBSG II. BBF 5/12/2017. Murky brownish amber with mocha bubbles. Smell is very thick candy sugar and caramel malts, syrupy caramel apples, maple syrup, complimentary alcohol, sticky and sweet in a good way. Taste is very thick and sweet maple syrup and candy apples, candy sugar, slight leaves, bitter herbs in the back, warming,… Sticky body, lower carb. Very lovely barleywine.
