COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Wit is a traditional Belgian Wit, though with a good deal more spices (orange peel and coriander) then one might find in the typical examples. (Formerly at 5.5%)

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy straw colour with a big frothy head that turns into a bumpy egg white head. Fresh aromas of pale malt, fruity yeast, spices, hay and some wheat. Sweet and fruity flavours with some more spices, and sweet wine gums. Slick and bit watery mouth feel. Bitterness = Light+, more than expected, and that lasts. A decent witbier with a surprisingly bitter end.

12.02.2012. 0,5l Bottle. Ica Supermarked Maaseskjæret, Bergen. Whitish yellow colour with white head. Hazy and unclear. Aroma is wheat and lemon hops. Very refreshing and nice aromatic hoppy smell!. Flavours are wheat, lemon hops and Coriander. There is a very clear flavouring to this beer. Medium to weak body, there should have been a little more body to balance the flavouring. At the end there is a little sourness. Low on bitterness in aftertaste. Good wit.

Rune (4924) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 19, 2012
500ml bottle picked up at Fenaknoken, Oslo. Yellow-gold body with a wheat haze. Airy, white head slowly fading and leaving spotty lace behind. Wheat and citrus to the nose. Well balanced flavour of mild spices, wheat and sappy, mid-sweet pears. Fruity ending, mid-dry. Soft in the mouth. One of the best of its kind in Norway. My rating no.500 of a beer from a Norwegian brewery (Tromsø, 14.01.2012).

Flaske 0,5l. Gave fra Rune. Fortært i heimen 16 Okt 11. Lysegul på farge. Uklar. Høyt luftig skum som varer. God aroma av sitrus & krydder. Smaken litt vassen men markert innslag av frukt. Appelsin & eple. Blir litt bitter etterhvert.
