Pours murky orange color with a small head. Aroma of vanilla, berries, some listerine and wood. Not pleasant at any point. Flavour is the same with some caramel glue notes. Not good man.

50 cl bottle @ Olutexpo
Aroma has butterscotch, some sweet malty notes and caramel. Flavour has butterscotch, sticky caramel, and toffee. Also some woody tones. Leathery palate. Just too sweet and sticky. Not bad anyway, I like the butterscotch notes here.

Eructoblaster (2985) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 15, 2013
Bottle - 500ml. Hazy copper body with a thin off-white foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with grainy and cinnamon hints. Its robust, well balanced taste carries spicy, brown sugar, fruity, and cinnamon notes. Ends with a warming bittersweet finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium to dark orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, spicy, moderate hoppy, christmas spices, nuttmeg, clove. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, spices, christmas spices, pine needles, allspice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. I normal do not like spiced beers but this is okay and not bad in any way. [20121110]

Bottle at the courtesy of Rune. High long lasting off-white creamy head. Very dark hazy orange brown body. Mild and slightly spicy herbal cocoa roasted malt aroma. Sweet and yet dusty raisin cocoa flavor. Low carbonation. Short sweet finish.

Appearance: Hazy red amber color with a big frothy tan head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Fruity and spicy.
Palate: Medium to full body. Slightly sweet and a moderate bitterness. Creamy carbonation. Oily texture.
Taste: Fruity (plum style), Christmas spicy (cardamom, cinnamon) on a balanced sweet deep malty background. Well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: OH YES. One more please!.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2013 500ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Beige, small and long lasting head. Amber body. Sweet aroma of alcohol and raisins, and a hint of apricot, hay and pine. Malty sweetness. Best served slightly below room temperature. In my opinion a very good christmas beer.

20130207: My first Swiss ale, and a fine first it is. Caramel-dark-amber in color with a distinct smoky hops note but a thin mouthfeel on the finish. Math: Smoky belgian style amber ale with a low IBU unique hops note. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
