COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
AeppelTreow Winery’s Antique Russet Cider Wine is made from the rich dark sweet cider of russeted English apple varieties. These rough-skinned apples are super sweet and tart at the same time. As the richest apples in the orchard, this single-barrel wine yield a bold flavorful cider.

I’ve been chasing this one down for the past three years. Sampled at the AppelTreow winery near Burlington, Wisconsin. Pours a clear Pinot Gris colored cider with a clear disk top. Aroma of crisp mild English apples, a hint of white blossom flowers with a very slight cider yeast. Taste is quite smooth, mild apple flavor with a soft finish with just a touch of white oak as the flavor disappears right away. Excellent for a summer cider that can be served chilled or room temperature.
