Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with huge legs over the golden body. Aroma is sweet and syrupy with alcohol and some tannins. Taste is a bit watery after the decadence of the aroma. A lot of bitter-sharp apples, with medium to high tannins. Some tartness. Big, but a bit on the thin side. Tannic. Good.

Sampled 2003 vintage at the winery near Burlington, Wisconsin. Pours a clear chardonnay colored cider with a clean disk top and light tears. Aroma of sweet multi-apple character with some spring floral and light spice. Taste is semi-dry with a decent balance of winesap and golden delicious apples. Finish has a semi-dry and mild apple aftertaste.
