COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
ĘppelTreow Winery’s Fencerow Perry Pear Cider is made from a blend of mild sweet butter pears and tart tannic wild perry pears. Sharp, bitter perry pears are more likely to be found in the fencerow than the orchard. This single-barrel perry is tart, pear-aromatic with a sturdy body.

Sampled at the winery near Burlington, Wisconsin. Pours a clear pinot gris color cider with a clean disk top and thin tears. A very nice pear nose with some fresh summer floral character with a touch of butter. Taste is lighter than its aroma, semi-dry and lightly tart pears and some floral and a hint of vanilla. Finish is crisp, slightly dry with a light tart pear aftertaste.
