COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
AeppelTreow Summer’s End Apple Wine is a semi-sweet, still cider made from apples that ripen in the warm days and cool night of September. Delicious, Cortland, Russets and Crabs, these are the same great blend of locally grown modern and heirloom apples that go into our sparking ciders.

Sampled 2005 vintage at the winery near Burlington, Wisconsin. Pours a clear pinot gris colored cider with a clean disk top and light tears. Aroma of mild apple cider, some summer floral and a hint of earthy herbs. Taste is light, crisp apples, a touch of butter and some nice floral character. Finish has a nice soft texture with more apple aftertaste than any alcohol presence. Very refreshing still cider.
