Comments: Thanks Savad! Smooth and good-looking, fairly alcoholic and not too sweet porter that perhaps has a touch of plasticy phenols, but is otherwise clean and fun to drink.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 jerohen (1775) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - MAR 15, 2006
Dutch Ratebeer Gathering. Opaque with a small brown head. Roasted malts, obvious bitterness, some earthy notes, complexity. Great mouthfeel. I’ve heard people say that this is the best Russian beer, and so far i must say they’re right. Oh, and nice bottle by the way.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 KnutAlbert (4377) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 7, 2006
Full flavour, nice taste of toast and almost burned grain.
This was labelled a porter, and it clearly is - maybe there are several beers with the same name? This was a fine brew!
