Bright, yellow-golden with a firm, dense head. Natural carbonation and a carefully balanced aroma of fresh bread, banana spice, citrus and hints of vanilla.
A smooth taste. Malty, nutty softness followed by the roundess of tropical fruit and then a dry, light bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth, round mouth-feel. A bright, refreshing finish. the final note on swirling has stronger notes of banana, yeasty spice and a hoppy aroma.

12 oz bottle. Hazy amber color with a quickly diminshing foamy head. Aroma of bready malt, banana, minerals, twist of lemon peel and a bit of spice. Flavor less dramatic--Basic semi-sweet biscuity malt flavor with some metallic and/or minerally notes. Flat chalky finish. Nothing here which really impresses me. I’m guessing they took a classic Blonde formula and streamlined it for extensive global distribution.

Appears a dense haze of orange toned gold with a small, bone white head that slowly fades to a mild, batter-esque cap. Lots of streaky lacing is left around the glass. Plenty of yeasty floaties are held in suspension with the heavier chunks anchored at the bottom of the glass. Smell is of caramel, bready yeast, notes of citrus, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Enticing. Taste is of the mentioned aromas toned down a bit from the aromas with a decent balanced attack of flavors that leaves sugar blasts of yeast along the tongue. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, sweet, yeasty, slightly overcarbonated with a deadening spot in the middle of the tongue. A mild bitterness lingers.

clear golden pour w/ a multitude of head. complex nose - hops, spruce, pine, herbs, and breakfast fruits. the taste reveals a hoppy, fruit flavor with an abovie average finish. it has an almost perfect balance of all the biggies (hops, yeasts, and malts). a non-offensive tartness is also present on the palate. it’s quite smooth. it came highly recommended, and i submit that you too should try it. i should’ve bought at least a pair.

Bottle. Good all-around bier and a great blond. I found this in an Italian grocery store, brought it home and immediately wished I had bought more. Worth trying to find

Almost perfumy aroma of light fruits and a bit of yeast. (This one may be several years old) Nice golden color (with chunks!) and a vigorous white head that laces a bit. Starts with a light fruity flavor, develops a bit of malt, some spicey mix - light clove & cardomon? The finish is sweetish with an underlying hint of bitter. In the end the mouth is left with a very mild bitter. I’d say this light ale ages very well (in the cool dark).

On tap at Barley John’s. Golden straw in color. Buttery, caramel and light pit fruits aroma. Butterscotch, banana and corny flavor, slightly dusty and sweaty. Acidic in the mouth. Kind of plain and unexciting stuff.

This beer is a muddy golden colour with a rocky and frothy white head. The aromas are distinctly mango/peach and very sweet. There is a hint of butter in the smell as well. The flavour is very sweet in my opinion with a moderately sweet and short-lasting finish. The body feels medium-full and has a syrupy-like texture to it. I noticed a chalky feel on the finish. The beer looks very attractive but I find it sweet and dull. Definitely a sipper. A good belgium beer with not a lot of action.
