Affligem Blonde, the classic clear blonde abbey ale, with a gentle roundness and 6.8% alcohol. Low on bitterness, it is eminently drinkable.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2010 Has a goldenish colour, hazy. Not too much carbonation, smells of slightly sour fruits, bitter aftertaste reminds of Harvey’s Best. The alcohol is well hidden. Can reccomend this to all fans of belgian blonde

750ml bottle labeled Birra Moretti, dated two years out. Complex malty aromas. A bit thin body for a Grand Gru but understandable for a "blonde". Lasting frothy white head and large bubbles.full mouthfeel. Priced much lowere than the Affligem beers in the same store in Rome. Very dry finish. Late alcohol notes. Not bad.

330 ml bottle @ Olutravintola Pannuhuone. Rated @ 30.1.2010.
Pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. Lacing too. Sweet fruits and mild hoppiness on the nose. Flavour of sweet fruits, syrup and spices. A bit watery mouthfeel. Easy to drink and a very average brew.

Draught in a bar at the back of the beach in Wimereux, France. A clear golden coloured pour with a smallish white head. Sweetish aroma. Tastes quite sweet, thin, banana, malt, spice. Pleasant enough but lacking in complexity.

Yellow pour with a white head. Aroma of citrus and yeast. Flavor is light with a little alcohol at the finish. Tastes medicinal. A lingering chloreseptic flavor.

Orange-yellow beer with big and blond head. Aroma is fresh and fruitfull, orange, slightly sour and some spices. Flavour is also basicly fruitfull, aromatic, quite dry and spicy. Lot of carbonation, but it fits nicely and this beer is nice to drink. Fresh, fruitfull, high-quality and enjoyable blonde.

Pours a vivid golden yellow with orange highlights, nose is musty with hints of banana peel and white pepper, taste is very grainy, mild malt sweetness, well carbonated, very similar to duval.
