On tap. Clear blonde pour. Aroma is yeast, slight caramel and clove. Light and sweet. Flavours of banana, yeast a little raisin and slight booziness on the finish, but all in all very well balanced and smooth for 7%. They’re right - a "classic blonde" that is "eminently drinkable." Very good for its category.

Ale belga assolutamente di rilievo. Al naso è decisa con spiccate tonalità maltate e di pane. In bocca è intensa ma equilibrata leggermente floreale. Ottima.

bottle - pours an almost clear blond with white head and trace lacing. Nose is yeasty and malty with perhaps a little spiciness. Very lively mouth feel. Hay aromas along with resin. Balanced taste on the light to medium spectrum of bitter/sweet Burp-y. I would not be able to distinguish this from a Leffe Blonde. For some reason, I am rating Affligem more leniently.

33cl bottle. Golden colour with a good formation of white head that has perfect lasting all time. Aroma is yeasty, sweet, slightly caramel and bready. Flavour is sweet as well, with plumbcake hints, sweet at the beginning and a final slightly bittery. Carbonation is medium to lively. Body is medium to high. Texture is oily.

Draft pint at Yardhouse. Clove and banana aroma. Very muted. Golden blonde in color, thin white head, minimal lacing. Classic banana/clove Belgian taste. Smooth flavor, delicate floral hopping. A pure Belgian, with good taste, good drinkability, and few off flavors. Will repeat again.

Trying some Abbey again, do like this style, this one has a nice bite to it, some cloudiness, hefelike but smoother, perfect for a crisp day
