Affligem Blonde, the classic clear blonde abbey ale, with a gentle roundness and 6.8% alcohol. Low on bitterness, it is eminently drinkable.

At a tasting, thanks Dor, small head, clear yellow colour, aroma of vanila, coriander, mint and marjorum and acidic fruit, malty fruity sweetness, with medium bitterness, medium bittersweet aftertaste. Nice.

Had on draft at Corcorans, Chicago, IL after our sand volleyball game. We lost, but the other teams chicks were sexy. Pours a light red with little white head. Taste is unexpectedly a little watery, as well as hay with a taste of roasted hops. Easy finish.

330ml bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with fluffy off white head. Grainy aromas, with a hint of hop character, not that impressive. Medium body with medium carbonation. Yeast character complex upon tasting; typical belgian blonde, but close to saison-like. Hop flavours apparent but minimal. Grainy flavours also present. Finish is medium-dry, with the yeast profile continuing to dominate through the finish leaving a satisfying taste on the palate.

Appearance: The beer poured a nice golden amber color with a huge, fluffy, cloud-like head which led to incredible web-like lacing the entire life of the beer. Smell: Very sweet smell with hints of honey, pepper and grain. Taste: Nice hints of honey, grain and spice as in the nose. The hops are minimal but leave a slight bitterness. The alcohol gives a nice warming sensation. Mouthfeel: Medium body with medium carbonation. Overall: Fantastic beer. A very easy drinking beer especially during the hot summer months.

Bottle. Poured a nearly full translucent orange/gold with a lively, white head that had good retention and little lace. Very nice aroma of candi sugar, orange sherbet, pineapple. Taste was slightly watery, light fruity, a bit tart actually, full of old candies.

Bottle. Clear golden colour with a medium-sized white head. The aroma is malty with notes of spicy yeast and fruits. The flavour is sweetish malt, yeast and citrus. Medium-bodied and very smooth mouthfeel.
