Beautiful blond pour with nice white head. Nose is full of florals and grasses. Taste is a little sweet, but not overpowering. Well balanced. Rated 3/4/03

Pours a golden color with a dense white head. Aroma is honey, vanilla, clove, banana, yeasty, spicy. Flavor is honey, clove, yeasty, apple, and a spicy finish.

Bottle. Hazy orange with a 1cm raft of white head that sticks to to the side of the glass. Smells of oranges and light doughy yeast with a little white pepper. Sweet and fruity initially - there’s apricots and nectarines more than oranges -with quite carbonated mouthfeel, spices, a little sourness and (belying the description) some bitterness take over. Nothing out of the box here; it’s just another nice Blond.

Bottle pours a slightly cloudy yellow with big, fluffy white head. Nose is bananas, citrus, candy sugar and clove. Tastes of the same, with coriander and spices on the back of the tongue. Lively carbonation, high burp factor. Dangerously drinkable, but a great warm weather brew.

330ml bottle. Pours a cloudy light amber with bright white head that lasts and keeps a solid lace. Aromas of sweet fruit that follow through on the palate. Very lively effervescence on the tongue that lingers. Not bad overall but there are far more interesting examples of the style.

33 cl bottle. Pours cloudy gold color with a load of lasting and fizzy white foam. Aroma is very light with some yeast and spices to it. Finish is slightly spicy. Leaves a touch of spice and bitterness on the palate.

Sweet smelling, a bit like too much dextrose for extra ABV. Maybe just extra sweet malt. Nice thick head on pour, quite thick and slow to die, pretty good lacing. This one is fairly clear except for the tons of suspended particulates which are actually fairly larg-ish, you can sort of feel them on your tounge. Wouldn’t want to have to clean this one up off a carpet. Smooth and even, a bit sweet and fizzy at the end. Not amazing but pretty nice.

I had this courtesy of my great friend and housemate, MereLikesBeer:) This was a surprisingly good beer, as I’ve seen it pretty much everywhere, and just never thought to give it a try. Well, I’m glad I did! It almost reminds me of a mild Duvel. The carbonation is spot on, and there are hints of citryus, and some nice subtle warming on the finish. Very good table beer, and lovely for this time of year. Cheers!
