Bright, yellow-golden with a firm, dense head. Natural carbonation and a carefully balanced aroma of fresh bread, banana spice, citrus and hints of vanilla.
A smooth taste. Malty, nutty softness followed by the roundess of tropical fruit and then a dry, light bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth, round mouth-feel. A bright, refreshing finish. the final note on swirling has stronger notes of banana, yeasty spice and a hoppy aroma.

Hazy golden beer with a lively carbonation and a medium body. Tastes quite good, but nothing special at all.

Pours a slightly hazy amber yellow with decent white head, nice. Aroma is a strange one as it is a bit metallic yet also contains bready yeast, clove and quite a strong honey like presence. Taste is smooth, satisfyingly bitter and mildly sweet, slightly astringent on the finish. Quite lively carbonation and medium body. A bit of a mixed bag but for 69p from Home Bargains there isn’t much to complain about and a decent beer!

300 ml. bottle sampled. Purchased @ ALBO. Light hazy apple juice golden, big fluffy industrial white head. Nose apple juice alcohol, phenolic, esters, bad apple juice, light cabbage, chemical, industrial fare. Body is hugely, fizzy, chemical & lightly watery. Taste is phenolic, light cooked cabbage, cheap alcohol mixed with apple juice, chemicals & washing powder. Painfully industrial for me. The good score baffles me. As far as I am concerned the low scores for beers like Budweiser, malt liquor etc. & this getting decent to good scores has everything to do with perception & nothing with taste or quality. I see more & more adds for this bar where they act all crafty.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2015 33 cl bottle@Voksenåsen Bar in large tulip glass@approx 5 degrees C (too cold). Pours almost clear yellow-golden with a large white head of tiny bubbles. Aroma of bread, citrus and fresh laundry. Effervescent mouthfeel with rather high carbonation and that Belgian taste of bread, malt and a little yeast and spizyness from tropical fruit. Soft, drinkable and light in a positive manner, though it does become a litte heavier as it warms up, before the slight bitterness in the long aftertaste sets in. Very well balanced beer. As with all good Blondes, as this one, I sometimes wonder why I bother with anything else...but then again :-)

Appearance is golden with a tinge of brown, a big off-white head which leaves lacing. Plenty of bubbles rising. Aroma- malty, Belgian yeast, cereal, sweetbread, spices. Taste- spices, coriander, hint of orange peel, sugary fruit, smooth mouthfeel, hoppy undertones, some caramel malt. Solid stuff.
