3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 teorn88 (567) - Rimini, ITALY - JUL 8, 2009
33cl bottle. Pours a hazy golden colour with a big white head. The aroma is quite similar to a good weizen (citrus, banana, bread, yeast), just a bit more fruity and spicy. Good fruity flavour, of course not as deep as other ales. The body is quite thin with high carbonation. The finish is dry and alcoholic with little bitterness. One of my favourite blond ales.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 SHIG (2530) - Osan, SOUTH KOREA - JUN 28, 2009
Bottle: Poured a golden color with white head. The aroma is sweet fruit and malt. Taste is very acidic with fruit. This beer missed the mark for me as far as Belgian Ales go. Earlier Rating: 7/19/2006 Total Score: 3.3 Golden amber with thick long lasting white creamy head. Sweet grassy hoppy aroma. Rich sweet malt flavor.

if the formula had not been created over a hundred years ago i would say that the flavor here is gimmicky... moderate body it is refreshing and substantive without a hint of graininess. flavor of clove and banana with a full flavored and active foamy head that will not quit. now, there is a refreshing quality and flavor as well as finish of soda pop and particularly 7up combined with a juicy fruit gum flavor that is not wrong for the reason stated at the start of this humble raters text. nice hit of alcohol well hidden quite a nice blonde with an ordinary beer aroma and clean finish.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Rustyham (1303) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 20, 2009
Sweet, honeyish, crisp, flowery, this is really smooth, not alcoholic tasting like many other blonds/triples. It is a beer that you can chug or nurse. I nursed it. On Tap at Abraxas, Miami Beach.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Cirrhosis (887) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 12, 2009
Thanks Mike for being the first person ever to bring good beer to a house party. Dirty yellow body nice cloudiness and a small white cap. Aroma is mild and yeasty with some spice. Flavour is more of the same yeast, spice, wheat, light apple, possibly lemmon. Very easy drinking brew that has a very dry pasty finish. Nothing wrong with this beer just kind of boring I guess. I swear this use to taste better then what this does. Body of the beer is fuller and has less burny carbonation now that it’s warm.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Swalden28 (2541) - McKinney, Texas, USA - JUN 10, 2009
Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in McKinney, TX. Pours a cloudy gold with sediment, nice white head. Aroma of some funk and citrus, fruit, a little banana, faint alcohol. Flavor is decent, some fruit and farmhouse, light hoppy bitter. Mouthfeel is light body, high carbonation, slightly watery. Overall, not half bad, pretty refreshing....
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Birdiebeagle (958) - Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 1, 2009
Bottle Pours a hazy straw color with a big white head. The head leaves rather quickly. Laces very well. Has a good aroma of citrus, and spices. Has a good carbonation. The mouthfeel is well done also. The flavor is good but not as deep as I would hope for. Well balanced and blended nicely. Has a dry texture and a light to medium body. A good finish with a nice aftertaste. A good beer but hoped for more pizazz from a Belgian.
