3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 BillyMidnight (41) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 4, 2009
Typical Belgian blond with a nice look, great head, but didn’t last very long and left a little too bitter aftertaste. Yeah, my ex-girlfriend reminds me a lot of this beer.

Golden colour with a big foam that lasts a while. Malty with a hint of hops. Very round taste and easy to drink, feels balanced. However it lacks some depth and feels like an avarage belgian pale ale.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Christian (8043) - Odense, DENMARK - FEB 26, 2009
Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Fruity (banana) and spicy aroma with a hint of hops. Dry and spicy with some hop flavour and bitterness. Nice balance
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Demise (57) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 19, 2009
Pours a cloudy dark golden with a rocky white head. The aromas consist of a mix between fruit, malt, yeast, herb and alcohol. The flavour is quite sweet with prominent pineapple and orange characters, a substantial malt flavour and fruity hop finish. A bitter aftertaste with some alcohol left lingering on he palate. The malt is a bit strong and doesn’t seem to sit quite right with the other flavours, but an enjoyable beer all the same.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 cfrancis (1223) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 17, 2009
Blonde colour with a frothy head. Not an overpowering taste but very good blonde. Mild hop bitterness aftertaste which is very nice.

On tap at Marvin, D.C. Another joint with a nice woody ambiance but weak selection, of which this was largely the best. Doesn’t feel like it has 7%, that’s for sure. Pale straw color, with an appropriate fizz but little notable mouthfeel. Dry and grassy, but a by-the-numbers blonde in the end.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 eManu (371) - Kuala Lumpur & Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 9, 2009
Had it on tab at some bar. Its color is deap gold with a thin white head that quickly desapeared. Its flavort are yeasty and little sweet. An Ok beer.
