Bright, yellow-golden with a firm, dense head. Natural carbonation and a carefully balanced aroma of fresh bread, banana spice, citrus and hints of vanilla.
A smooth taste. Malty, nutty softness followed by the roundess of tropical fruit and then a dry, light bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth, round mouth-feel. A bright, refreshing finish. the final note on swirling has stronger notes of banana, yeasty spice and a hoppy aroma.

Bottle, 300 ml from the local offie. Been wanting to try this one for a while, since quite enjoying the dubbel and tripel some time ago. Pours clear amber with a hefty, soapy white head. Little bit of lacing. Aroma is bright, fresh and fruity, with a backdrop of caramel, honey and banana. Smells a little bit German, though less bready. Bread and brown sugar dominate in the flavour department, with more honey and cereal to finish. Initially sweet though some bitter edges kick in midway through and linger following the abrupt departure of everything else. High carbonation and medium body make for a crisp yet quite forceful experience palate-wise, though this could be smoother overall. More refereshing than it’s heavier siblings in the dubbel and tripel categories, though plenty flavoursome. Think Orval but with less of a floral and herbal character.

Pours hazy yellow, mild metallic and malt smell. Taste is pretty spot on for a blonde. Small fruit and spice finish. Over all a pretty decent beer. I had this from a bottle.

Colour is between yellow and amber, with a foamy white head. Fruit and herbs are dominant in the aroma, while in the taste these are combined with notions of malt and unripe banana. Nice bittersweet aftertaste, but if you drink it too cold, the aftertaste is ruined.

Intensywny aromat, mocno chmielowy. Piana bardzo gęsta, opada po pewnym czasie, utrzymuje się w postaci kożuszka. Kolor złoty, mętne. Przyjemnie alkoholowe. Mocno musujące. W smaku- bogaty bukiet. Goryczka wyrazista, kolejne smaki uwalniają się sekunda po sekundzie, słodycz, kwaskowatość, też coś jakby chleb, albo palona kawa (!). Innymi słowy magia. Niesamowite piwo.

300ml bottle from Asda. Imported by Heineken, Edinburgh. Blondes aren't usually my favourite beers, but this is one of the better examples I've sampled. Slightly cloudy amber, sweet, not too much in the way of body, but a pleasant enough beer...and £3.50 for a 3- pack! Good value. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
