I tried this beer on May 30, 2008 after purchasing from the Queen’s Quay LCBO outlet in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer pours a hazy golden orange colour with a bubbly white head which disappears within a couple of minutes. The aroma was grassy malt, some appley hints, and a little hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium carbonation. The flavour was very yeasty with some malty hints. A little spiciness as well.

Pours a clear bright orange color with a huge amount of froathy offwhite head. Aroma is flowers, dough, cloves, and a bit of lemon/banana mix. Flavor is a bit dry and tart. Much more bitter and acidic than most belgians. Some spiced banana doughiness too. Overall, pretty good.

Peppery clove doughy nose. Deep yellow-gold with a hint of orange, had a frothy sea foam head that lasted forever. Honey sweet, some sour notes and noticeable hop bitterness. Lighter bodied, huge bubbles, but the finish is smooth and lasted forever. Really nice beer.

On tap. Slightly hazy gold with a decent head and nice lacing. Wheat, fruit, and yeast in the aroma. Slighltly sweet, finishes dry.

(Bottle at Poirotti on 2008-04-25) Light amber and clear. Big white head. Fruity nose with some yeast. Medium palate with some acidiness. Hop bitterness is the first thing in taste. Then quite a bit yeast and a little bit sweetness. Perhaps too yeasty.

Nice sweetened yellow, fluffy head. The sweetnes is balanced through some longing flower taste.

Hazy golden pour. The first impression is a very fruity yeasty nose...promising enough. The flavors are fruity/yeasty, citrus(lemon), rich sweet (honey, candi sugar?) maltiness, and a following herbal hop bite in the finish. This is a really fun beer. A lot going on, but not at all intimidating or overly complex.
