Eh, what can I say. Poured 2 fingers of foam in a tulip. Smells a little like wet dog but mostly bready with some fruit. Has the classic Belgian ’hot’ yeasty flavor. A little bit sour which made it interesting. Doesn’t quite do it for me though, I’m not a fan of the perfume/soapy flavors. My buddy really likes lychee/bubblegum type yeast (which is what this reminds me of) but I’m more of a fan of the citrus/ fruit type... Still a very good beer overall.

Pours a cloudy blond with quickly dissipating head. Mild aroma. Mine had a slightly metallic tinge in taste. Typical Belgian flavours, not too bitter, a bit sweet. Decent but nothing outstanding compared to many of it’s counterparts.

Very approachable beer. Higher in alcohol than most beers, but not noticeable at all, which could be either good or bad. Still smooth and very pleasant. Lots of fruit tones to it, good on a warm lazy spring day.

Cloudy yellow with mammoth wispy head, slowly diminishing. Fruit aroma, with banana, vanilla and Belgian yeast. Yeasty flavor with fruity esters. Mildly bitter and mildly bland. Ok.

12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy, deep gold with yellow highlights and a big, fluffy, large-bubbled (almost like soda), white head. The aroma is mostly pilsner malt with a touch of fruit (green apple). The flavor starts very crisp with a touch of acidity, a good bit of light malts, and a strong note of flowers - both from noble hops and from some yeasty esters. By mid-palate, there is some balancing bitterness and a touch of acidity (lending more green apple flavors). The finish is dry and crisp with some esters, some perfumey hop bitterness, and a light touch of residual sweetness. Throughout is a flavor of doughy yeast and the flavors described are somewhat delicate. The mouthfeel is very dry and very highly carbonated. It almost stings the front of the palate and provides some crispness that accentuates the acidity. Overall, it is very drinkable for 7%, but it isn’t that special - the flavors are too delicate: like a bland yellow lager with subtle hints of interesting Belgian abbey beer...
