COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Affligem Blonde, the classic clear blonde abbey ale, with a gentle roundness and 6.8% alcohol. Low on bitterness, it is eminently drinkable.

bottle: Can’t say I’d have this over a Leffe Blonde. There’s all you’d expect here: the yeast, the high alcohol flavour . . . but none of the interesting flavours that Leff has. If you like Belgian ales then go for it.

Bottle. Well crafted Belgian blonde. Somewhat characteristic of Leffe in that it balances the fruit/spice of the Belgian witbier with the sturdiness of a 7% ABV ale. I think I prefer Leffe Blonde but this is pretty close. Worth a try!

pretty standard belgian, emphasizes the clove spiciness over the fruits, fairly clean and not too sweet.

Bottle. Clear yellow colour with huge frothy white mostly lasting head. Spicy, malty aroma. Sweet spicy flavor. oily palate.

frink (467) - coquitlam, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 3, 2007
Pours a cloudy golden colour with a thin yet lasting head. Yeast aromas, malt black pepper. Spicy belgain yeast in the flavour some light malt, watery palate. It’s o.k. but a better mouthfeel would improve it greatly.

Tap. Pours a yellowish-orange with a quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma is citrus and coriander with candy sugar and yeast characteristics as well. Taste is largely the same, though the beer does feel a tad watery. Solid, nothing more

UPDATED: OCT 25, 2007 From tap: nothing special, actually pretty boring, sweetish, almost no bitterness, pretty thin bodied, some fruitiness, some bready yeasty notes, some weak caramel sweeteness. drinkable but totally boring.
