3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Bier Bistro. Perfect balance and mouth feel. Dark honey colour with a light lace. Pleasant bitterness that doesnít dominate the beer. Some spiciness on the nose. Alcohol is well masked. Not exotic, but itís easy to see why this is a classic. Itís a sure fire favourite of mine

Keg @ The Fox, Willian. Bright gold with a thin creamy head. Its character is mostly floral with a fruity undercurrent. Gently quaffable.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle poured in a Hoegaarden Grand Cru glass. Pours a rather heady blonde colour with a wonderful amount of carbonation. Aroma is quite herbal and refreshing. Taste is more of the same but stronger with maybe suggestions of anise along with other more elusive herbs. Quite a clean finish but without the dryness.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle sampled at Classic City Brew Fest 2014. Pours a slightly hazy gold with fluffy white head. Aroma is faint, bready grain, light fruits and Belgian yeast. Taste follows, clean and easy, solid blonde.

Flesje@ de Bosrand Arcen. Blonde kleur, niet zoveel kraag. Ruik weinig en proef een bitterzoet, fris bier.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle into a Trappist glass; served cold.
Aroma: Grainy, corny, even a little skunky. Not impressed.
Appearance: Moderately hazy, golden body with a small, fluffy, white head. Decent enough lacing.
Taste: Tart fruit. Apricots. Just a little bit of spicy yeast.
Palate: Medium bodied with an average amount of carbonation. Moderate length on the finish, which ends on a spicy Belgian yeast note.
Overall: A nice Blonde. The aroma put me off quite a bit, but itís a nice example of the style. Definitely a bit more fruit than spice in this one.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very Belgian sweet aroma, hard to evaluate appearance as from the bottle (will h r to rerate this). The taste is also rather sweet and Belgian, maybe a mix between a Grimbergen and a Leffe. Nothing exceptional for a Belgian beer, I would are it regular..
