Bright, yellow-golden with a firm, dense head. Natural carbonation and a carefully balanced aroma of fresh bread, banana spice, citrus and hints of vanilla.
A smooth taste. Malty, nutty softness followed by the roundess of tropical fruit and then a dry, light bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth, round mouth-feel. A bright, refreshing finish. the final note on swirling has stronger notes of banana, yeasty spice and a hoppy aroma.

Gylden let ufiltreret øl med hvidt skum. Let sprittet og belgisk duft. Smag er ikke særlig fyldig i forhold til andre blondes fra belgien. Let syrlig i smagen, men ellers normal begisk ale. For meget kulsyre

Pours a slightly hazy amber yellow with decent white head, nice. Aroma is a strange one as it is a bit metallic yet also contains bready yeast, clove and quite a strong honey like presence. Taste is smooth, satisfyingly bitter and mildly sweet, slightly astringent on the finish. Quite lively carbonation and medium body. A bit of a mixed bag but for 69p from Home Bargains there isn’t much to complain about and a decent beer!

330 mL Bottle. Slightly murky gold body with a large foamy white head that settles to a clingy layer leaving ample lacing. Aroma malty-grainy-yeasty with fruity accents of apple, plum, and banana, and a pronounced floral note. Smooth tasting all the way; light malt body with a hint of caramel and a complex fruity-floral character. Banana, treacle, and subtle hint of bubblegum in the aftertaste, smooth creamy finish.

Bottle. 0,33. Simulat Belgian Ale. Not interesting. A little straw and flowers on the palate. Not strong aftertaste.

Pours hazy golden with a thin foam head. Unlucky I am, this beer is troubled by protein prcipitation so lookds very ugly. Aromas: not intense at all, almost nothing here but some malt/yeast notes. Fresher and bitterer than Leffe Blonde but even more watery.

Bottle. Actually ordered a Leffe Blonde, got this instead. Not much of an aroma, malty and yeasty. Slight fruits in taste, carbonation. Not bad, but then I was expecting one of my favorite session beers (Leffe) so I’m not sure this was a fair rating, will have to order it again to size it up better.

A quite clear beer with a smallish head. Aroma is of oranges, cariander and yeasty esters. The flavour is nice and rather hoppy for a blonde. Very balanced notes of citrus, yeast, malt and hops. A little bitter. Fine and straight to the point.

"Classic clear blonde abbey ale" in the description. Just that. Clear golden, nice white head.

Golden beer with thin white head. Some yeast/citrus/candy sugar/caramel aromas. Not great in mouth with over carbonation. Slightly metallic. Candy sugar dominates then harsh hops. Not a good construction and poor balance

Unimpressive. Spicy with a slight alc. taste and too much carbonation. Rather sharp and unbalanced, lacking the smooth texture that helps make some other Belgian Abbeys so delicious.
