COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Balanced and refreshing (6.8%)

Bright, yellow-golden with a firm, dense head. Natural carbonation and a carefully balanced aroma of fresh bread, banana spice, citrus and hints of vanilla.

A smooth taste. Malty, nutty softness followed by the roundess of tropical fruit and then a dry, light bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth, round mouth-feel. A brigh, refreshing finish. the final note on swirling has stronger notes of banana, yeasty spice and a hoppy aroma.

Blond bier met een gemiddelde schuimkraag. Geurige neus, discrete smaak met fruitige toetsen. Zwakke afdronk. Een klassieker maar geen topper.

Goudgeel bier met mooie schuimkraag, weinig aroma, wat moutig, smaak vind ik ook wat vlak, moutig bitter. Weinig memorabel blond biertje.

A nice golden orange color. Aroma is very tripel-like. Fruity and spicy. Taste is pretty hoppy actually with a slightly bitter finish. Not too bad, and I wanted to try out my new Affligem chalice today.

I really enjoyed this beer. Much lighter than what I’ve been drinking lately. It was very smooth, gold in color and something you could chug in an emergency....I liked it better than Orval.

Great beer. It has a robust citrus flavor.

12 oz bottle into a goblet. Beautiful hazy gold beer with ample white Belgian lace. The aroma is very fruity (banana, apricot, pineapple). Taste is dominated by fruit and spices (clove, black pepper). Also a note of clover honey. Finishes dry and just slightly bitter. The best Belgian blond I’ve tasted.

Bottle. Pours a thick white Airy head and pale amber yellow color. Floral scents and a clean taste with a very typical blond Belgium beer taste. Yummy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear gold / yellow with a sizable head. Aroma of japanese soy sauce, a little yeast, corn and some malts. Sweet and sour flavour, not unlike applejuice. Some citrus (lemon). Hops are slightly skunky. This one is not particularly spicy. Mild, basic belgian ale. Full bodied. Lasting finish of mild bitterness.

Appearance: Golden with a huge fluffy white head... with lovely lace on the glass Aroma: Fruity with some pineapple and apple like aromas with a slightly spicy sour note there well. Undeniable belgian yeast nose Flavor: Very complex ... opens with a sweet malt note which is quickly replaced with sour apple like sourness mellowed by bitterness which is slightly spicy Palate: Medium light body with a nice carbonic bite.... the flavors seem lively finishes dry and slightly sweet - very balanced Overall: Very attractive beer. The nose is very impressive the taste leaves litle to be desired but a definite must try beer.
