Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy blonde with thin white head that dissipates quickly. Smells hoppy with a slight bit of floral hops. The smell writes cheques that the taste can’t cash. A slightly sweet caramel comes through at first, but then a bitterness almost a sourness come over it and dissipates quickly into an alcohol aftertaste. The palate is dominated by aggressive carbonation.

I really enjoyed this. Smooth, creamy, long-lasting head, excellent fruit aroma. Smooth given the alcohol content but not sweet. Sharp on the palate but not harsh.

A froathy white head and a dark yellow body. Aroma has a littel fruit in it, mostly malt. Very powerful sweet flavors in this one. Overall, a pretty good blonde.

Pretty good drinkable belgian with little hidden flavors. Full of carbonation. Fruity start with a very slight hop finish.I found that if you pour this in a big glass and let the head dissapate it is much better.

Bottle. Aroma was pleasant and fruity, but the taste was more than a little disappointing. Can’t say I will ever buy this again...

As blonds go, this one is fairly tasty with a good balance. There is a slight bitterness near the end, but it is not enough to take away from the overall drinking experience that is Affligem Blonde. Although good, I wouldn’t consider this above and beyond what most belgian whites offer.
