doubleo (834), San Diego, California, USA Oct 5, 2008 330cl bottle. Pours hazy, light yellow/orange with a nice fluffy white white head, some lace. Smells yeasty and sweet malty with some sweet straw flavors. Tastes malty and sweet bready, yeasty with some nice clean flavors, hops maybe? I don’t know what the hop content of this brew is though. Medium body, nice carbonation. patricks110 (176), Alberta, Canada Oct 5, 2008 Bottle from Bottlescrew Bills, Calgary, Ab. At 7.5 percent this is a fairly average belgian ale based on ABV. An aroma of creamn, honey and flowery hops. Malts cascade over tongue on first taste. No aftertaste. Flavour of malts, and not very much alcohol taste. Mouthfeel is phenomenal. Overall, a great beer. darkseduction (119), Zweibrücken, Germany Sep 27, 2008 Bottle 25cl. Golden clear brew with small but stable white head. Yeasty in the nose but no yeast in there. Malty aftertaste, hides alcohol very well. Nice but nothing to remember. shendrix (462), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Sep 21, 2008 A bright golden brew with a light creamy head, tasting of honey malt with a mildly sour finish. The alcohol plays nicely in the palate, I must say. thill25 (191), Orlando, Florida, USA Sep 19, 2008 330 cl bottle...pours golden yellow with a mostly diminishing, bubbly white head. Not much lacing noted...maybe a drizzle here or there. Aromas of sweat bread, yeast, mild citrus, maybe a hint of pitted fruits laced with caramel. Flavor was crisp and clean follwed by a touch of caramel sweetness, and a tingle of tart fruits. The palate was fizzy, medium bodied, with a slight bitter sweet finish. Very drinkable Belgian Ale, but nothing life changing.
