4.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
330 ml bottle. Unfortunately I can not get a fair read on the aroma as this bottle has been over exposed to light. Although I must say the head is quite impressive with good endurance. The head on this is as thick as a Guinness yet this is on a blond. A six pack of these would run you 30 bucks. Top shelf stuff here. This blond’s complexion is like gold with minuscule sediment sleeping in it, (you can tell it is not fake gold). A fair amount of carbonation at work here . A well rounded balance on mouthful. Partially earthy yet clean with just the right amount of spice.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle sampled at Classic City Brew Fest 2014. Pours a slightly hazy gold with fluffy white head. Aroma is faint, bready grain, light fruits and Belgian yeast. Taste follows, clean and easy, solid blonde.

Flesje@ de Bosrand Arcen. Blonde kleur, niet zoveel kraag. Ruik weinig en proef een bitterzoet, fris bier.

3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle into a Trappist glass; served cold.
Aroma: Grainy, corny, even a little skunky. Not impressed.
Appearance: Moderately hazy, golden body with a small, fluffy, white head. Decent enough lacing.
Taste: Tart fruit. Apricots. Just a little bit of spicy yeast.
Palate: Medium bodied with an average amount of carbonation. Moderate length on the finish, which ends on a spicy Belgian yeast note.
Overall: A nice Blonde. The aroma put me off quite a bit, but it’s a nice example of the style. Definitely a bit more fruit than spice in this one.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma: bread malts, fruity bouquet. Appearance: clear gold, small white head. Taste: light to medium sweet. Palate: sweets open up, some hints of alcohol, fruity malts, average-long finish, quite pleasant. Overall: good Belgian Ale, bit flat on aroma, but palate is very nice. Pint at Frenchy’s, Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very Belgian sweet aroma, hard to evaluate appearance as from the bottle (will h r to rerate this). The taste is also rather sweet and Belgian, maybe a mix between a Grimbergen and a Leffe. Nothing exceptional for a Belgian beer, I would are it regular..

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great beer for a Saturday lunch or dinner. I wouldn’t drink more than two however, this is most certainly a sipping beverage.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAR 14, 2014 Bottle pours a cloudy golden yellow. Lots of carbonation. The head last long and is white. It's an ok average blond ale. I can smell slight bananas and malts. It is nothing fancy. I consider it a classic brew with classic taste. Not one of my chalice choices.
