3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
75cl bottle. A bit cloudy golden with small to medium head. Nose : banana bread, little tart and cherry flavored candy. Yeast. Sip : quite strong carbonation, still bubbly while swallowed. Oily texture with low density body. Sweet and estery. Mostly aromatic hops. Some very delicate fruit flavors. The beer seams dull and too much carbonated. Aftertaste is a bit earthy and sour with some little bitterness. Not my kind of beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a pale golden with short lived bright white head. Honey like nose with fruits and the distinct Belgian yeast. Pear and apple flavors mixed with floral notes. Not sweet, just like fine dry white wine. The flavors are laid back, making this more delicate. very good.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
750ml corked and caged bottle, shared with Katie, Katie, and my sister. Mildly hazy yellow / orange color. Good white head. Some lace. Decent hoppy aroma, light metallic, bit of soap. Light, more crisp belgian-style carbonation. More dry finish. Light bitter, good zestiness. Decent, respectable golden ale. Katies liked it significantly better than the Wittekerke Winter White they were drinking prior to this.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is dark yellow.
Aroma is moderately malty (grain, husks), moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), with notes of gum/banana, alcohol, cement.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately to heavily bitter, husky, unclean.
Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic.
Ugh...really, really husky in both nose and mouth. Not very clean either. Not much going on in the nose, even the hops in this "quadruple hopped" beer are mild. A dumper.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 c&c from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours brass with a 4 finger creamy/frothy white head. Which proceeded to ring lace decently with time. Aroma has lots of floral, some herb/spice, and banana ester. Amazing, considering all that foam. So floral it brought my childhood bubblebath powder to mind. Med + body. Flavor is floral, yeast/spice, and banana ester, tho not quite so much as the aroma suggested. It pretends to be sweet, but there’s enough hop in it to render it "almost dry" and pleasingly bitter. That floral really kicks in again in the finish. This is a delight to drink.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: deep golden, big loose rocky foam, that slowly collapses, fruity-orangey nose with a shy hoppy bitterness underneath; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; shorter fruity bitter-sweet finish, supported by some lonely hops.O.K., the usual Belgian fizz...
