3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ungstrup (23917) - Oamaru, - JUN 28, 2007
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of spices - not that exciting an aroma. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of wheat, combined with light notes of spices, and a slight alcohol burn on the palate. OK, but nothing special. Thanks madsberg for sharing.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 kiwianer (150) - Mönchengladbach, GERMANY - AUG 7, 2011
Getestet beim BTO Treff 3. Danke an Erzengel!

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Koelschtrinker (7034) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUL 6, 2011

UPDATED: DEC 5, 2010 On tap at a bar in Paris. Little head to speak of, clear golden body. Aroma of grains and little else. Taste was very un-Christmassy, mostly grains and maybe a slight hint of spicy sweetness on the back end.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 jaghana (2078) - Strasbourg (France), FRANCE - NOV 9, 2010
On tap in Strasbourg. A light clear amber beer with medium head. The beer is very spicy at the beginning, intense aroma of coriander and cardamom, body is quite low. Good malty notes specially at the finish, not bad beer but a bit thin for a Christmas beer.
