A reddish-brown abbey ale brewed with dark malts. The secondary fermentation gives a fruity aroma and a unique spicy character with a distinctive aftertaste. Secondary fermentation in the bottle. (Serving temperature: 8-10ºC)

Beautiful pour, a mid-brown colour with a perfect, slightly beige head that lasts nicely. Sweet malt, caramel and fruit with a dry, spicy finish. Really good beer.

Bottle. Slightly metallic aroma rich with dried fruit: raisins and prunes, mostly, with some faint brown sugar. Hazy dark amber under a persistent, off-white flannel blanket. Rich dark caramel toffee and sultana raisin flavour with very little bitterness and a nutty finish. Medium full body, medium high carbonation, smooth.

Pours enormous beige head which then quickly disappears. Nice aroma of caramel. Dark color which I like. It is not too heavy so you can drink several if you like. I like this type of beer so simply no question. Very nice.

33cl bottle @home. Poured mahogany color, thick, off white head. Candy sugar, plum marmalade in aroma, some spicyness. Not too sweet though, I like the aroma in this dubbel. Not a big fan of this style, but this beer seems to suit me better. Flavor has sweetness, coriander, aniseed kinda spicyness and then that plum marmalade again. Finishes sweet, almost full bodied. Lingering spicy sweetness. Thumbs up, I like this one. Somewhat nutty aftertaste as well that comes out later.

Purchased in Austria and consumed in Serbia, bottle. Thank you Lela and Milos. Pours ruby bright with a huge ivory foamy cap. The appearance is promising. Nose: dry fruit, candy sugar, pancakes syrup. Ok. Mouth: medium high carbonation, milder than the nose and not that complex. Better that average tough. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cor caramelo escuro. Espuma bonita mas dura pouco. Super bem balanceada, álcool presente na medida. Paladar de banana, canela, especiarias. Frutada sem ser doce. Excelente!
