Cerveza ambarina con espuma cremosa. Sinceramente está buena. Bastante cuerpo, malteada. Sabor acaramelado y ligeramente a café.

330ml. bottle. Amber reddish colour with a big creamy head and a lace that keeps forever. Chunks floating on the glass. Smell of candied fruits, caramel, spices and damp earth. Taste is on the sweet side, with an astringent finish.Apple, banana, pepper, caramel and some medicinal notes.

Ótima Dubbel belga, essa cerveja possui aroma intenso, com boa dose de malte. Bom corpo e drinkability idem. Carbonatação media, um pouco diferente das outras belgas do estilo. nada que afete aubstancialmente essa otima cerveja. Ótimo custo beneficio! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cerveza qué supera a mi gusto a su hermana triple algo no muy comun en mi paladar, con tintes parecidos en sabor a la hermana mayor.

Most of the time I favour the triple over the double, but not with the Affligems. So much to taste in this one! A favourite.

Colour inbetween amber and red, pretty deep with a massive beige head of fine foam, some visible carbonation. A nose of hops, lightly roasted malts, some sugars and a touch of spices. This is reflected in the taste which is full with a solid roast and hop bitterness as well as a hint of iron. The aftertaste is surprisingly alcoholic for a 6.8% beer and quite strong overall, still quite bitter in a vegetable way with a hint of banana; that dry vegetable and iron taste is too pronounced for my liking.

copper color body, off-white two finger long head, vanishes slowly into a two mm. film. aroma is sweet, caramel, cookies, and a little of resin. it's light to medium bodied, lively carbonation, nice finish. taste is mainly sweet, roasted caramel and dark sugar ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[ASPETTO] marrone con riflessi ambrati [SCHIUMA] color beige, buona presenza, fine e lunga persistenza [OLFATTO] buona intensità, caramello, frutta matura , note alcoliche liquorose, un leggero speziato di fondo [GUSTO] base maltosa e dolciastra su cui cresce fin da subito una certa astringenza che si converte in sensazioni fruttate, mela matura; repentino arriva a chiudere una amaro piuttosto incisivo, ruvido che rimane agganciato al fondo della lingua e che fa comunella con una alcolicità evidente e liquorosa che aggiunge sensazioni speziate e calde. [TEXTURE] corpo medio, morbida ma ben carbonata, lascia una leggera sensazione oleosa sulle labbra [COMMENTO FINALE] strong ale belga scura, bel colore bella schiuma, non eccessivamente complessa nei profumi e sapori ma equilibrata e facile da bere. L’alcohol rimane sempre evidente ma , correttamemente, da il suo meglio a fine corsa. Un buon prodotto, economico e di facile reperibilità

33cl bottle.Poured dark brown in colour with a smallish light brown head which quickly faded.Malt,fruit and spices in the aroma.Caramel,malt,spices and fruit in the taste making an enjoyable easy to drink beer and one i would like to try in larger bottle.
