The beer has a light ruby red color, a little bit towards the orange spectrum. There is a soft almond colored foam on top of the beer. The smell is nice. There is a fruity sweetness, and some raisin. You can smell some sweet alcohol. There is a peppery aroma, which is nice. Not very special but definitely not bad. The taste nice, but it lacks strength. The tastes could be stronger to make the beer more tasteful. The beer has a nice hoppy bitterness and some dark raisin tastes. Really nice. Because the tastes aren’t that strong, the beer is a little watery.

Aroma: Brown sugar, caramel, cherry, fruits in general. Appearance: Brown/red/ruby beer beer with a persistent off-white foamy head. Taste/Palate: Starts with caramel en fruit, ends bitter. Overall: A really nice Dubbel which smells amazing and has a rich taste.

Showers dark brown out of the bottle to my floor. Beige foam on my table. Nose is dark and dried fruits, candy sugar, caramel, malts, plum. Taste is brown sugar, dark fruits, spices, caramel sweetness. Slightly boozy. Nice aroma and not bad taste but lacks some depth and complexity.

Exceptionally nice, tan and persistent foam on a very fragrant ale. Its aroma is dominated by roasted malt mixed with other good smells of hops, fruit and a sweet smell of caramel. Taste is malty and hoppy in a very large and well-balanced manner. It has a small tang of fruit in a sweet aftertaste lead your taste through to a comfortable bitter and persistent end. A monastery brew that is among the best I have tasted, although perhaps a little too much Belgium in it. Sometimes I miss slightly wider variation in the Belgian monastery brew, just as it fortunately is not the case among the Danish micro breweries. Yet a commendable ale.

Ruby red colour with big foamy beigish head. Plum and malt in aroma. Bitter fruitish flavour with some weak plummy hints. Alcohol also present in flavour. A bit artificial flavours in this one...
