Bottle, 33cl. Lightbrown foamy head. The beer is clear and nutbrown. Aroma is sweet with notes of figs, fruits, sweetness and caramel. Very gentle flavor, with caramel and some fruits. Moderate sweetness. Carbonation is low, which gives a good mouthfeel. Overall a nice belgian dubbel.

Bottle sampled with stegosaurus. Pours a dark brown with a two finger beigh head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, spices, and raisins. Flavor is moderate sweet with caramel malts, light yeast, figs, and some fruit notes with a clean and smooth finish

Aroma is a rich sweet roasted malt scent. Color is a hazy brown with just a hint of orange. Carbonation is good but seems a bit fizzy with a loose head that dissipates quickly. Taste is fizzy and bitter. Starting with a medium body it goes down with soo much fizz that it is almost hard to swallow. Finish comes on with a mild sweet malt flavor, just a faint hint hops flavor and a good bitterness. Its just not as bold as a Belgium Dubbel Ale should be and way to fizzy.

A lovely belgian dubbel. Pours a muddy brown with a few flakes of yeast floating around despite a careful pour. That’s OK though, I need more vitamin B. A deep snort reveals fruity malty aromas dominant, a hint of solventlike alcohol, and some vanilla oakiness and a whiff of dark molasses also. The flavour is the same only more so. There’s a light sourness underlying also, which helps offset what could be an overly sweet beer otherwise. The mouthfeel is let down a little by what I consider overcarbonation. Others may like this though, it’s just not for me. The finish is short, with a sweetness that lingers on the front of the tongue.

Bottle 0,33ltr: By mine opion the best of the three abbey-styles, dark brown sweet abbey-ale with hints of caramel.

Bottle. Large off-white head, fully lasting. Nice brown color. Malty aroma. Not as complex as the best belgians, but a good beer.
