2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bager (2121) - Copenhagen N, DENMARK - APR 4, 2007
Bottled. Dark brown and reddish in colour with a rather large fluffy light brown head. Somewhat sweet and malty with notes of caramel, dark fruits, yeasts and syrup. Pretty well balanced but also too mild and uninteresting.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 walleye (944) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - APR 3, 2007
from the bottle corked and caged. poured a cloudy garnet with a nice foamy light khaki head that left some good lacing. aroma malts, caramel, and I swear thin mint, yeast, brown sugar, toasty. flavor, cherry, malts yeast, sour fruits, metallic , sugar. after drinking half the bottle I shook it up and poured the yeast in the only thing that I could pick up that was different was got a nutty flavor. good beer
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Maria (7805) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 1, 2007
It’s a nice brown color and a nice, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, sweetness and spice (is it anise?), caramel and candy sugar. I find the same impressions in the flavour, which might sound as if it’s complex, but I find it rather thin bodied and that the sweetness is to dominant. The finish is rather dry. 1524

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Fukito (610) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAR 31, 2007
Tap at La Mayor Cervezas, march 07. Shinny copper color and an almst chantilly cream light beige head. Aroma is peaches, fruity. Tastes of caramel, dried fruits and a nice nutty ending, with a slight toasty touch. MF is medium, very creamy, velvety, just a bit flat at the end. Nice, warming dubbel that could go the extra mile with a touch of singularity.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 hapjydeuce (854) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 26, 2007
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2008 Super frothy, nearly too frothy of a head, off white color. Translucent amber color, with fruity aromas including raisin with caramel and spice. Flavor dissipates too quickly, no lingering, with an almost a metallic taste throughout. Not good. Harsh and stingy palate. I wont buy this one again.

Bottle. Dark, brown/red color, with a bit bitter and at the same time fresh taste.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 eaglefan538 (2726) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - MAR 24, 2007
Pours an amber color with a very nice initial head, solid lacing, nice appearance. The aroma was strong caramel with light brown sugar notes, not a good start. The flavor was strong nasty caramel, light bread, and nasty european pale lager flavors with some yeastiness, light fruitiness with increasing temperatures. Very unimpressive outside of appearance, a little sticky in mouthfeel.
