Decent Dubbel but needed a little more umph. Nice standard bready and malty aroma that goes with the style. Maybe some added spice. The color was a bread-crust brown with a small head that quickly dissipated. Malt backbone that was not heavy. A little sharp aftertaste but not distasteful. No recognizable hops presence.

330 ml bottle. Dark ruby color with a huge frothy white head. Aromas of sugar and caramel. Pretty much similar taste with notes of spices and liquorice. Mild aftertaste, low to medium body, medium carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a ruby body, with an average light brown head that diminishes fairly quicly, leaving a fair lace. Caramel aroma, notes of roasted malts and maybe some vague grassy hops. Medium to heavy sweet caramely taste, faint notes of vanilla. Pretty thin bodied for a dubbel, average carbonation, oily texture. Very enjoyable.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Clear ruby body with a thin beige head that slowly fades. Aroma of metal, cherry, syrup and a faint hint of marzipan. Flavour of honeycomb, plum and pot puri. Bitter metallic tang. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Not the best Dubbel I’ve ever had - lacking a bit in body and certainly in complexity.

Serh seifig mit ein bisschen mit ein bisschen an Sirup, Malz und Vanille. Durchaus trinkbar, aber recht unausgewogen und bisweilen laff.

Pours out of the bottle in a nice deep dark brown colour with steady creamy head and smooth body. Aroma of malt and gulasch. Taste of meat broth, gulasch, malt and sour berries. Awful finish of meat broth with noodles in it. Disgusting.
