This brown ale poured with a fluffy tan head, eliciting a candy aroma. The flavor is spicy and slightly sweet, with a chocolate finish. This is a decent beer, but not as satisfying as the tripel.

I personally was unimpressed with this beer. One could tell that it’s a high quality product, yet it is dull and boring. Doesn’t compare to Affligem Triple. Will pass on next time.

Dark ambar body, tan head. Porto and wine with fruity aroma. Sweet malt taste and good flavor. A little alcoholic.

Fruity aroma with a hint of wine. The taste is rich and sweet - a real monestary double. Not to be drunk in large doses, but still not as heavy as the most complex in the genre.
