Glows red and hazy with pocked yellowish suds. Sniffs of cinnamon and gingery spice, red apple, overripe banana. Fruity, spicy dubbel with a hint of hop bitterness. Possibly chiccory, liquorice, wholemeal bread and yeast. Silky, spicy, solid ale.

Aug 31, 2008 I personally was unimpressed with this beer. One could tell that it’s a high quality product, yet it is dull and boring. Doesn’t compare to Affligem Triple. Will pass on next time.

Aug 22, 2008 Fruity aroma with a hint of wine. The taste is rich and sweet - a real monestary double. Not to be drunk in large doses, but still not as heavy as the most complex in the genre.
