Pours a strong amber/tan color with a frothy beige head. Smells of spice and fruit and malt. Tastes as it smells initially, with it’s many flavors assaulting your tastebuds, but then leaves you lingering with an uncalled for bitter aftertaste. A decent dubbel.

Jan 4, 2010 330mL bottle, pours a dark reddish brown with a huge tan head. Aroma of dark malts and fruit. Sweet and somewhat bitter taste, with a dry caramel on the finish. Not really a complex flavour and a bit on the thin side. Still a good dubbel.

Dec 27, 2009 Shared this one w/SkyCop32. Pours a nice cola colored brown. Aromas of malts, fruit, and a touch of spice. Has flavors of chocolate, caramel, and a touch of wood.

Dec 26, 2009 Pour brown&reddish with a coars foam. Half fruity without getting to sweet. Nice aroma and taste but may lack some of the complexness for me. But overall a very good beer!

Dec 25, 2009 bottle @ home. Pours a ruby red/brownish beer with a good head. Good aroma with hints of dark fruits. Sweet taste with bitter notes, caramel and brown sugar. Nice dubbel!

Dec 22, 2009 33cl bottle. Pours redish brown with a huge head. Faint aroma of spice, can’t quite place it. The taste is smooth, with caramel at the end. Over all a very tasty Dubbel.

Dec 16, 2009 Pours hazy amber brown with a nice sized light tan head. Aroma is caramel, dark fruit, and candi sugar. Flavor is caramel with a little roastiness and candi sugar, with a lot of estery fruity flavors from the yeast and an effervescent champagne like quality. Fairly dry for a dubbel and estery. Pretty good.
